Culture and economy

This Network originally evolved from a Festival in the Saint-Malo Region (Haute-Bretagne). Three festivals have now been organized (Saint-Malo / Cadiz 1997, Glasgow / Dublin 1999 and Genoa 2001), partnered with other cultural, tourist, economic and gastronomic events. The links between national and international partners have been reinforced thanks to such close collaborations.

Today other European cities and ports from as far afield as Asia and North America have now joined “The Core of the Network” which comprises of the members from Saint-Malo, Cadiz, Glasgow, Dublin and Genoa.

The Network allows members access to :

• a resource centre available to all members,
• a communication service,
• networking facility,
• project updates,
• event organization at members request.
